    The Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts at º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ will celebrate its 30th anniversary by opening both its performance and exhibition seasons with a vibrant day of music and art on Sunday, Sept. 21.

    More than 900 students were named to the dean's list for the 2024 fall semester at º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½, achieving a grade-point average of 3.5 (out of 4.0) or better.

    Heather Harris, associate professor and director of the master's program in Marketing Communication, was invited to speak at Texas A&M University-Commerce on Nov. 21.

    Dr. Alyssa Santos, former postdoctoral researcher at º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½; Dr. Alexander Rupprecht, assistant professor of Chemistry; Dr. Katsu Ogawa, assistant professor of Chemistry; Patrick Schneider, lecturer of Chemistry; Dr. Adam Brown, professor of Education; and Dr. Scott Simpson, professor of Chemistry and program chair (from left in photos, starting at top left), had their article titled "Exploring Student Misconceptions in Bonding and Resonance: A Computational Chemistry Exercise for General Chemistry Laboratory" published in the Journal of Chemical Education.

    Dr. Tammy Rae Matthews, assistant professor of Sports Journalism and Digital Journalism, earned the prestigious 2024 African Journalism Studies (AJS) Best Paper Award at the 74th Annual International Communication Association (ICA) Conference, held June 20-24 on Australia’s Gold Coast.
