    ߲ݴý will offer an Esports Summer Day Camp July 6–10, 2026, featuring structured gameplay, team development and an introduction to careers in the esports industry for students entering grades 8–12.

    Heather Lynn Harris’s children’s picture book manuscript, which has the working title “Junkyard Jewel,” has been accepted for publication by By Chance Books, an independent publisher based in Fort Collins, Colorado.

    The Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts at ߲ݴý will celebrate its 30th anniversary by opening both its performance and exhibition seasons with a vibrant day of music and art on Sunday, Sept. 21.

    More than 900 students were named to the dean's list for the 2024 fall semester at ߲ݴý, achieving a grade-point average of 3.5 (out of 4.0) or better.

    Dr. Tammy Rae Matthews, assistant professor of Sports Journalism and Digital Journalism, earned the prestigious 2024 African Journalism Studies (AJS) Best Paper Award at the 74th Annual International Communication Association (ICA) Conference, held June 20-24 on Australia’s Gold Coast.
