    The Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts at ߲ݴý offers something for everyone in its 2024-2025 Performing Arts Season.

    Yella’s, the new food hub within the RC Café, will hold a ribbon-cutting at 11 a.m. Monday. The campus community is invited for the brief ceremony.

    Dr. Tiffany E. Demiris, assistant professor of Sports Management, has had the main conceptual work from their dissertation accepted for presentation at the Academy of Management Annual Meeting this summer in Copenhagen, Denmark.

    Heather Lynn Harris, associate professor and director of the master's program in Marketing Communication, has been accepted to present her research, "A Sabbatical Exploration of Visual Storytelling," at the 39th Annual Visual Communication Conference (VisComm 39) in Estes Park, Colorado, June 18-22.

    Adrian Wojnarowski, one of the most influential figures in modern sports journalism, has been elected to the National Sports Media Association Hall of Fame.

    Dr. Sheri B. Voss, assistant professor in the School of Education's graduate B12 Reading Literacy program, presented at the National Institute of Literacy in Houston, Texas, in April.

    Dr. Ebony White, associate professor of Counselor Education, is the lead author of a book chapter titled "Reframing Termination through a Culture-Centered Lens" in the newly released textbook titled "Intersectional Counseling Skills: The Journey to Becoming a Culturally Inclusive Counselor."

    ߲ݴý’s Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts today announced a yearlong celebration marking its 30th anniversary, kicking off April 26, 2025, and continuing through April 2026. The milestone will be commemorated with a range of performances, special events and community engagement initiatives, reflecting the Quick Center’s history and commitment to the visual and performing arts.

    The Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts at ߲ݴý will present an exhibition of new work by renowned Onondaga potter and sculptor Peter B. Jones in the Dresser Gallery, opening Friday, Jan. 23.

    Clinical Assistant Professor Stephanie Richards, PT, DPT, participated in a highly specialized anatomical dissection course presented by Sue Falsone PT, DPT, MS, SCS, ATC, CSCS, COMT, founder of Structure & Function Education and a nationally recognized leader in rehabilitation and performance.

    With its first course beginning in two months, the new doctoral program in Educational Leadership at ߲ݴý has been granted membership in the Carnegie Project on the Educational Doctorate (CPED) Network.

    The Foster Center for Responsible Leadership in the School of Business has edited a special edition of the Association of Franciscan Colleges and Universities (AFCU) Journal.

    ߲ݴý has named Chris Scheppner, ’13, ’14, as its associate vice president for Alumni Engagement, Dr. Jeff Gingerich, university president, announced.

    Fr. Michael Calabria, O.F.M., director of the Center for Arab and Islamic Studies, presented a lecture at the opening of an exhibition at the Delhi Art Gallery (DAG) in New Delhi, India, Oct. 26

    The ߲ݴý community is mourning the passing of Dr. Pat Panzarella, longtime professor of English at ߲ݴý, who passed away Sunday (Oct. 19, 2025) following open-heart surgery. Pat was 84.

    Jandoli School of Communication Dean Aaron Chimbel organized and moderated a panel, “Leading Journalism Education Amid Rapid Global Change,” at the World Journalism Education Congress, Aug. 10, in San Francisco.

    Students in ߲ݴý’s prestigious Oxford program were part of a small but historic moment last week when student Alyssa Perkins delivered the opening blessing at the weekly banquet at Trinity College in an indigenous American language.

    Dr. Alyssa Santos, former postdoctoral researcher at ߲ݴý; Dr. Alexander Rupprecht, assistant professor of Chemistry; Dr. Katsu Ogawa, assistant professor of Chemistry; Patrick Schneider, lecturer of Chemistry; Dr. Adam Brown, professor of Education; and Dr. Scott Simpson, professor of Chemistry and program chair (from left in photos, starting at top left), had their article titled "Exploring Student Misconceptions in Bonding and Resonance: A Computational Chemistry Exercise for General Chemistry Laboratory" published in the Journal of Chemical Education.

    Dr. Jinjing Zhu, associate professor and department chair of Management, presented a conceptual working paper titled “Cognitive Authority Reconfiguration Capability: A Higher-Order Dynamic Capability for Human–AI Complementarity” at the Midwest Decision Sciences Institute (MWDSI) Conference.

    ߲ݴý (13-8-1) opens Pool B play vs. Fairfield (8-8) at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday in the 16-team AAU College Hockey National Tournament at Jacksonville, Florida. The Bonnies are ranked 7th overall in the tournament; the Stags are 10th.
